| Calcium Silicate Insulation IIG's Thermo-12 Gold® is a molded, high temperature, abuse-resistant pipe and block insulation with exceptional structural strength, composed of hydrous calcium silicate for use on systems operating up to 1200°F (649°C). The gold color provides positive identification that it is asbestos-free. Thermo-12 Gold meets or exceeds the physical property requirements of ASTM C 533, Type I. Available in a large selection of sizes and forms, and readily machined, calcium silicate can fit many applications. T-12 is particularly recommended for critical applications in the petrochemical and power generation industries where pipe and equipment operate up to 1200°F (649°C) continuously. | Large Diameter Pipe & Tank Wrap LD Pipe & Tank Wrap is used to insulate vessels and large diameter pipes with service temperatures from 35°F to 850°F (1.7°C to 454°C). Used in commercial and industrial construction projects. Helps control heat loss or gain, and provides hot surface personnel protection during system operation. The unique variably-oriented fibers provide the thermal and compressible properties found in rigid fiber glass board products, while remaining flexible enough to wrap vessels and can be used as a cost-effective substitute for pre-formed pipe insulation on large diameter pipes (see table below for minimum pipe diameters for each thickness.)
