AMI-SIL® (AS) and (CAS) hot work fabrics are made from a minimum 96% pure amorphous silica cloth and are rated to 1800 deg F (980 deg C). AMI-SIL is the product of choice for use in the fabrication of removable insulation pads or insulation jackets required for components in extremely hot environments. (SAS) cloth is cured with silicone rubber on one side.
