Sound Seal® pipe and duct wrap acoustic insulation is the solution for noise control and sound-proofing of noisy pipes and duct works. Sound Seal® pipe and duct wrap or lagging consists of a mass loaded noise barrier with reinforced foil facing on one side bonded to a 1 or 2 in sound absorbing quilted fiberglass decoupler respectively. Sound Seal® B-10 LAG/QFA-9 is a composite material featuring a flexible 1 lb/sq-ft reinforced foil faced loaded vinyl noise barrier bonded to a 2 in TK scrim faced quilted sound absorber/decoupler. Used to wrap noisy pipes, ducts, valves and fan housings. Used to wrap the exterior of ducts and pipes to block the noise that transmits through its walls as air or other contents move through it. The quilted fiberglass decoupler improves the performance of the noise barrier and provides sound absorption and thermal insulation around the duct or pipe. The reinforced foil facing on the barrier readily accepts a matching lag tape for easy installation. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
