RPR Products Insul-Mate™ galvanized steel roll jacketing is manufactured from continuous hot-dipped G90 zinc coated steel, per ASTM A-653 and, compared with aluminum, galvanized steel has superior physical properties. It is stronger, providing more abuse-resistance. Possessing a higher melting temperature, it provides greater fire protection. Having excellent corrosion-resistance, it can be used where environmental conditions permit the long-term use of galvanized steel. The coated steel meets ASTM A-653 .
