Polyimide masking tapes are made of 5 mil thick polyimide film with 1.5 mil thick silicone adhesive. They can be removed cleanly without leaving an adhesive residue. Polyimide masking tapes can withstand temperatures of up to 500 deg F (260 deg C). These tapes are packaged on a 3 in core and are 36 yd long.
