Insul-Mate™ aluminum elbow covers are precision formed and are sized to cover and weather protect insulated elbows. They are formed from 0.024 in THK, 1100 alloy, O-temper aluminum which is coated with baked-on epoxy paint on the inside to resist electrolytic decomposition and a proprietary composite polyester resin paint system on the outside to resist oxidation. The elbow covers are manufactured to meet ASTM C-450 specification.
