Super Caltemp® Gold® 1700 block insulation is an inorganic, non-combustible insulation with exceptional strength and extremely low water of hydration. Chemically, super Caltemp® Gold® 1700 features a xonotlite crystal structure and is composed primarily of lime, silica and reinforcing fibers. The product is Gold® in color, essentially dust-free, contains no asbestos and can insulate up to 1700 deg F (927 deg C).
