Ideal Tape® 491 FSK tape is a Foil/Scrim/Kraft backing coated with a high performance adhesive system, delivering a permanent bond to FSK-faced insulation. The FSK is tough and cannot be torn by hand, and provides an aesthetically pleasing finished insulation system.
Ideal Tape® 491 FSK is a pressure sensitive tape manufactured with the FSK (Foil/Kraft/Scrim) facing used by most major manufacturers of FSK insulation. Its performance AWF adhesive system provides a permanent bond to the FSK insulation facing. The Scrim layer bends with the primary facing, providing the insulation system with integrity and a strong, finished appearance.
