LEWCO Mat Insulation is composed of 100% select grade Type “E” glass fibers needled together into mat form. LEWCO Mat is processed in such a way to maximize thermal efficiency. It is non-respirable, incombustible, asbestos free and contains no resinous or inorganic binders. This material has been tested and conforms to Mil-I-16411, USCG Subpart 164.009, ASTM C1086, and ASTM E84 industry standards. Upon request this material can be made to meet DTL-24244D(SH), and NRC 1.36. Other densities available upon request.
