HYTEX® 1000 fiberglass fabrics and textiles are manufactured from E-glass yarns with a continuous operating temperature of 1000 deg F 538 deg C. Available in a variety of configurations including woven cloth, woven tape, sleeving, and rope, HYTEX® 1000 chemical-resistant textiles have high dielectric strength and maintain a large measure of tensile strength at elevated temperatures. In addition to a range of fiberglass textiles, Mid-Mountain offers high temperature-resistant fiberglass fabrics specifically used in the insulation industry for removable and reusable insulation blankets and pads. With excellent thermal insulation properties, these fiberglass fabrics are heat-treated to reduce fraying during fabrication, have low smoke emission and excellent abrasion resistance. The HYTEX® range of chemical-resistant materials, including fiberglass fabrics, can be used for both fiberglass cloth and fiberglass tape depending on your application requirements.
