CHIL-SPRED™ CP-135-2 is a water-based, combination protective coating and lagging adhesive that is non-flammable in the wet state and fire-resistive when dry. It is specially formulated for use with all lagging fabrics and insulations. When used as a coating, it forms a strong, tough and durable film, which protects the underlying insulation. When used as a lagging adhesive, it creates a strong bond to hold the laps of the lagging fabrics together. CHIL-SPRED™ CP-135-2 coating/adhesive coats and adheres fabrics such as canvas and lagging cloths to air conditioning equipment and ductwork as well as boilers, piping and other process equipment. It may also be used to adhere the laps of these fabrics on pipe insulation. In addition, CHIL-SPRED™ CP135-2 coating/adhesive may be used on the joints and termination of fibrous duct liner insulations to help prevent air erosion of the fibers. When used as a coating on duct liner, CHIL-SPRED™ CP-135-2 coating/adhesive protects underlying insulations.
