COMMERCIAL METAL BUILDING INSULATION

SPI - Spray Foam - SPI

Our Fiberglass Metal Building Insulation provides thermal and acoustical insulation for the roof and sidewalls of pre-engineered metal buildings and post frame construction. Sustainable , Metal Building Insulation is composed of inorganic glass fibers bonded with a formaldehyde-free resin, formed as a flexible blanket with uniform texture. The face laminated insulation blanket is supplied in thicknesses to meet specified R-Value requirements for energy conservation and roll sizes to suit the construction and eliminate waste. Laminated on one side with suitable vapor retarder, Metal Building Insulation reduces transmission of exterior sound to the interior of the building and also absorbs building interior reverberant sound.

FIBERGLASS ROLL INSULATION

Metal building insulation NAIMA 202-96 (Rev. 2000) is a resilient, flexible unfaced blanket insulation made from inorganic fibers bonded with ECOSE technology. The blanket is suitable for application of facings and has sufficient tensile and bond strength for normal handling by the laminator and contractor. NAIMA 202-96 (Rev. 2000) is required to meet NIA Certified Faced Insulation Standard.

VAPOR BARRIERS & RETARDERS

The vapor retarder used on metal building insulation must be strong enough to withstand installation handling and function as an aesthetically pleasing interior finish. The facing must be durable with good tensile and burst strength. it must be fire retardant, provide good light reflectivity and have low water vapor permeance. Note: the lower the permeance, the better the vapor retarder.

VRR-PLUS BLANKET INSULATION

LAMTEC® Vapor Retarder Insulation Cladding, Standard-Duty Style, Fiberglass/Metallized Polyester/Polypropylene Barrier, White, -40 to 240 deg F, 600 ft Length, 54 in Width, 0.007 in Thickness, Flexible/Rigid: Flexible

OTHER METAL BUILDING INSULATION

DURA-SKRIM® 10HUV is a clear, four-layer reinforced extrusion laminate. The outer layers consist of a high strength polyethylene film with added UV and thermal stabilizers for extended outdoor longevity. DURA-SKRIM® 10HUV is reinforced with a minimum of a 1000 denier scrim laid in a diagonal pattern spaced 3/8 in apart with an additional machine direction scrim every 3 in across the width. The individual plies are laminated together with molten polyethylene.
